Originals Fine Rib (DS1006) — the 200-needle dress sock. Knitted from 75% organic combed cotton, 23% polyamide, 2% elastane at 200-needle density — approximately twice the density of a standard mass-market sock. The result is a thin, smooth, precise sock with a fine rib texture, suited to dress shoes and leather-soled footwear. Hand-linked toe seam. Mid-calf length. OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified.

Relax Heavy Rib Supermelange (DS3800) — the thick cosy weekend sock. A completely different construction: heavier, chunkier, and knitted from a supermelange blend of cotton and wool fibres that creates the characteristic speckled, blended colour effect. The Heavy Rib is the sock for boots, for home, for the weekend. It is visibly thicker than the Fine Rib — not interchangeable, not for dress shoes, but unparalleled for comfort in casual contexts.

The Relax Heavy Rib is a thick, chunky weekend sock made from a supermelange blend of cotton and wool fibres — heavier, softer, and built for boots, home, and casual weekend wear. They share a colour palette but nothing else. Think of them as the formal and casual halves of the same wardrobe.

What is a "supermelange"?

Supermelange refers to the blending technique used in the Relax Heavy Rib: multiple fibres of different colours are spun together before knitting, so the colour variation is in the fibre itself rather than applied as a dye or print. The result is the characteristic heathered, multi-tonal, speckled appearance that gives the Relax sock its texture and visual complexity. The "super" prefix indicates a higher number of blended fibre colours than a standard melange.

Can I wear the Relax socks to the office?
