What is a hand-linked toe seam?

A hand-linked toe is closed by hand using a single thread, creating a virtually flat seam with no ridge. Mass-market socks leave a small ridge you can feel through dress shoes. The hand-linked finish is used by every premium sock brand of consequence.

Are Democratique socks certified organic?

Yes. The cotton is certified organic. The finished sock carries OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certification, testing every component — fibre, dye, elastic, thread — for harmful substances.

How long do Democratique socks last?

3-5 years of regular wear with proper care. Wash inside out at 30 degrees C, air dry. Do not tumble dry.

The Summer 2026 collection introduces the brightest, most considered palette in the Originals Fine Rib range to date. New colourways include Orange, Palm Springs Blue, Red Moon, Yellow Blur, and Forest Green — designed for warm-weather wardrobes, white sneakers, and lightweight tailoring.
